Ref: MMA-261
Are you an experienced programme or partnerships professional with a talent for building relationships, making sense of complex information and turning insight into action? Do you have the skills to engage senior stakeholders, work collaboratively across systems and help shape a new national programme from the ground up?
If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Programme Mobilisation Manager to lead the mobilisation of our national lived experience support programme as part of the Changing Futures initiative.
About St Giles Trust
An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes and the right support they need. Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
About the Programme
Changing Futures is a national, cross-government programme that supports local authority partnerships to improve outcomes for people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, substance misuse, poor mental health, domestic abuse and contact with the criminal justice system.
St Giles Trust has been commissioned to deliver a national lived experience support offer, working alongside the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and other national partners to strengthen local delivery, embed lived experience and support long-term systems change.
About this key role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the early development of a national programme. During this three-month mobilisation phase, you will build strong relationships with local partnerships, people with lived experience and national stakeholders, gathering insight to understand local priorities and ensure our support offer is responsive, practical and grounded in real experience.
You will lead engagement and listening activities across local areas, identify opportunities for collaboration, translate learning into clear delivery plans and help establish a credible and influential national presence for the programme.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience leading programme mobilisation, implementation or service development within complex partnership environments.
- Experience working across systems supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage, social exclusion or related fields.
- A track record of building effective relationships with local authorities, statutory agencies, voluntary sector organisations and people with lived experience.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate insight into practical action.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to work strategically while maintaining a practical, delivery-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
Please note this role requires a Basic DBS check.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary, generous leave allowance, staff pension, flexible working, a mentoring programme, an advice and counselling service, clinical therapist sessions, life insurance (4 x annual salary), duvet days, season ticket loan, employee perks programme, eye care voucher and much more.
We are an equity and inclusion confident employer. We welcome all applications, and we particularly encourage applications from people of the global majority (black, brown, multi- heritage) and those who identify as disabled, neuroexpansive, neurodiverse, with any protected characteristics and/or social barriers or challenges. We value the empowering and informative impact that all lived experiences and diversity of thought can offer the organisation.
St Giles will guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria set out in the Job Description for the vacancy.
Pay: £44,404.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in United Kingdom
