Multiple Mealtime Assistant positions, permanent and fixed term, Ladysmith Infant and Nursery School, Exeter

Mealtime Assistant

MTA Salary: SC Grade 1a SCP 3, FTE £25,614 (based on 25/26 rates)

Hours/weeks: multiple positions available 5 hours per week and 6 hours and 40 mins, 38 weeks per year, actual salary £2,914 and £3,887 per annum

Contract term: Permanent and fixed term options available

Start Date: September 2026

Closing date: Midday Friday 17th July 2026

Interview Date: Tuesday 21st July 2026

We are looking to appoint a number of Mealtime Assistants to join the Headteacher as part of a team in securing the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday break.

This will involve supervision of pupils in the dining hall, the playground and other school premises and associated ancillary duties.
