We are looking for passionate and dedicated university students who understand the National Curriculum well. This is an excellent opportunity to earn supplemental income while making a positive impact on young people's lives. We invite you to join our welcoming tutoring team at WMTH in Stoke-on-Trent.

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to provide in-person support to school-aged learners (KS1 to A-Level) on weekends. We would love to receive your application if you have achieved strong grades in your subjects.

**Your responsibilities will include:**

- Supporting students with their academic work in Mathematics and Physics.

- Fostering confidence and helping learners achieve their goals.

- Delivering engaging lessons and providing personalised support to meet each student’s unique needs.

- Utilising innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.

- Collaborating with the management team to maintain the quality of the curriculum.

- Preparing students for examinations through focused revision, practice exercises, and mock assessments.

**About Us:**

WMTH is a community-focused tutoring centre in Stoke-on-Trent that provides in-person academic support to students from Key Stage 3 through A-Level. We specialise in Mathematics, English, and Science and are committed to fostering a supportive environment where students can build confidence and achieve their academic goals. We work with university students and subject matter experts who have a firm grasp of the National Curriculum and are dedicated to supporting the success of young people.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to give a short presentation on a topic related to the role, followed by a Q&A session with the panel. This process is designed to give you the opportunity to showcase your knowledge, ideas, and communication skills. Final decisions will be made based on both your presentation and discussion.

Interview date: Wednesday 1 July 2026, between 15.00-19.00 hours

Interview venue: In person at GHC Business Centre, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 2RF or Online

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary
