Full job description

Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful south west of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drink in a casual yet refined environment.

Having opened our lovely South Petherton restaurant in November 2021, the next stage in our development is in full flow, with our seven Bed & Breakfast rooms having opened in November 2023.

Job Description

You will work directly with Yuliia, Liam and Jomon, our Front of House Management Team, to assist in all aspects of service delivery to the highest possible standard. We are looking for friendly and outgoing people, who pair a professional attitude with a genuine desire to care for guests. A demonstrable passion for food, drink and hospitality is essential. An interest in current food trends, sustainability and low-intervention wine is a distinct bonus.

This role will range from 0 to 40 hours work per week, with the potential for this to grow depending on both your experience, and our capacity as we enter the busy festive period. Your availability must be open and able to work through through the close of day with both weekday and weekend availability. Holm is open for Breakfast and Lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00AM and for Dinner on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 12:00AM. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in similar restaurant environment
  • Support the FoH team in delivering service in a busy restaurant
  • Maintain an exceptionally high standard of service
  • Excellent food and drink knowledge, and a desire to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Over 18 and legally entitled to work in the UK
  • Cocktail making experience not essential but desirable
