An enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Theatre Crew member or Technician is required to join Hampton’s highly successful Hammond Theatre team.

Job Overview
Hampton is one of the UK’s most successful independent schools and is seeking to appoint a full time Theatre Crew member or Technician to assist the existing Theatre team with the running of the Hammond Theatre and a number of other performance related spaces on the school site. Candidates must have experience of working in a live entertainment environment and possess a strong knowledge of stagecraft.

The Hammond Theatre is a thriving 380 seat Performing Arts Centre and hosts a varied programme of drama, dance, music and comedy plus Live Theatre screenings for all ages including NT Live, Royal Opera House and other independent theatre productions as well as acting as the hub for a number of virtual events.

Experience with moving lights, technical maintenance, working with Avolite & ETC lighting desks, Digico digital Sound desks and Video Cameras would be advantageous. A good level IT is required and knowledge of Macs, Qlab, Zoom and Teams is desirable but not essential.

The appointment is full-time or term-time plus and will involve evening and weekend work.
