Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.
Who We Are…
When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…
From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.
Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. The key to that lies with our Studio Operations group, which includes areas like soundstage/backlot set rentals, events, design, culinary, construction, landscaping and much more. Whether it’s hosting an unforgettable studio tour, creating an optimal workspace, or equipping talent to tell the best stories, these teams lay the foundation for the memorable experiences we provide.
Your New Role...
We're looking for a technically minded problem-solver to join our Engineering team, providing hands-on support across our iconic Soho Square and brand new Greek Street locations. From cinema screenings and cutting rooms to cutting-edge picture and sound environments, our Soho facilities are where world-class post-production comes to life!
Your Role Accountabilities...

- Maintain, update and troubleshoot production hardware and software to ensure reliable operation.
- Uphold the highest technical, operational and security standards throughout the facility.
- Support the calibration of broadcast monitors, cinema projectors and audio systems.
- Deliver installation, configuration and technical assistance for cutting rooms and client systems.
- Provide technical support for staff, clients and production sessions.
- Work closely with operational and management teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services and minimise disruption.
- Provide cover in operating the screening theatres when the projectionist is not available.
- Be part of the team of Fire Wardens to assist in ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- Operational support experience with Linux-based FilmLight Baselight and Autodesk Flame systems.
- Strong understanding of digital cinema equipment, industry standards and post-production workflows.
- Demonstrable expertise in picture monitor and projector technologies, including calibration.
- Ability to perform audio monitor line-ups for mix stage environments.
- Solid IT skills covering workstation assembly, configuration, troubleshooting and networking.
- Proven experience supporting shared media storage platforms, including Avid Nexis, DDP, StorNext and GPFS.
- Experience working effectively within a fast-paced post-production environment.
- Good working knowledge of Linux, macOS and computer networking principles.
- Familiarity with video and audio standards, together with supporting broadcast and post-production infrastructure.
- Good understanding of current MPAA security standards and best practices.
