Responsibilities

• Wash, scrub, rinse, and dry pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques
• Ensure all items are cleaned to health and safety standards before returning them to the kitchen
• Maintain cleanliness of the pot wash area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Assist with basic kitchen duties as needed to support overall food preparation and service
• Follow proper waste disposal procedures and handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any equipment issues
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills in English for effective teamwork
• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and safety procedures in a kitchen setting
• Valid driver’s license is a nice-to-have for potential transportation needs
