Care Assistant- Days & Nights

Please be advised that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants requiring sponsorship, either now or in the future, should not apply. Any applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship will be automatically rejected.

At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a day and night care assistant to work in one of our residential care facilities, Southwell Court on a full time, 36-42 hour permanent contract, £13.45-£13.55 per hour.

Day Care Assistant- 42 hours per week, alternate weekends included.

Night Care Assistant- 36 hours per week, alternate weekends included.

Southwell Court is a modern, spacious residential care home in the heart of the village of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:

  • Support the physical and emotional needs of our residents and their general day to day activities around the home, improving and making a difference to their everyday lives.
  • Assist residents with their personal care, including washing, lifting/hoisting, bathing and toileting.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

  • Caring personality and caring nature
  • Positive attitude and outlook
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to complete physical task
  • Availability to work every other weekend
