Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Multi Trader (high level of plumbing & tiling a bonus) to join our team. The job is for Nationwide Installations of our luxury wooden gazebos & garden rooms. There will be lots of travelling, staying in hotels when necessary and ability to be long hours on the road is necessary as we are a nationwide company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter / Multi trader will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing our Crown Pavilions wooden gazebos and garden room structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Duties

  • Nationwide installations
  • Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling structures.
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Execute joinery techniques to create strong connections between different components.
  • Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
  • Construct roofs and other structural elements in compliance with building codes. .
  • Assist with electrical installations as needed, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Nationwide travelling & installations required
  • Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
  • Strong understanding of joinery techniques and structural principles.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry.
  • Familiarity with masonry work is advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
