Apprentice Tiler and Labourer

We are looking for an Apprentice Tiler and Labourer who is looking to start a career in the construction industry with an industry leading swimming pool and wellness builder.

Some prior experience of manual work or labouring is preferred but not essential. No tiling experience is required but we want an applicant with keen ambition to learn a valuable skilled trade. We are looking for a confident, hard working and punctual individual.

Duties:

To work alongside our tiling specialist as an assistant with a view to developing in the role.

Duties to include: preparation work, assisting with the tiling of swimming pools and steam rooms. Helping to move materials on site. Aiding our tiling specialist in the preparation and cleaning of tools.

You will use a range of joinery hand tools, portable machinery, i.e. drills, sanders, routers. All tools will be provided.

CSCS card is not required but having one would be an advantage. We will train you and provide access to the CSCS card scheme if you do not have one.

Comply with all Health and Safety policies, including site specific procedures and work to approved RAMS.

The role will require you to stay away from home Monday – Friday. All accommodation and evening meals will be provided for. Our tiling specialist lives in Newport and close proximity to Newport or Bristol is preferred. Our office in based in Bristol which would be acceptable also.

You will need a clean UK driving license if you do not live in Newport.

Requirements:

  • Possess a clean driving licence and transport

Salary: £17,000 - £21,000 per annum based on experience
