Full job description

Job Summary

As a Tiler, you will prepare surfaces and install tiles to create neat, durable finishes across a range of projects. You will interpret schematics, select suitable materials and use hand and power tools safely and accurately.

Duties

  • Measure and prepare floors, walls and other surfaces, checking they are clean, level and ready for tiling.
  • Read schematics, plan tile layouts, cut tiles to fit and apply adhesive and grout with care.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations, finishing edges and checking alignment and quality.
  • Coordinate with colleagues on site and keep your work area tidy. Your impact: precise, well-finished tiling gives clients practical surfaces that are easier to maintain and enjoy.

Qualifications

Required: Practical ability to measure, prepare surfaces and handle tools carefully, with attention to detail and a commitment to safe working. Preferred: Construction experience, including tiling or carpentry, and familiarity with schematics, construction painting, hand tools and power tools will help you adapt to varied site tasks and work effectively alongside other trades.

Pay: £15.30-£28.07 per hour
