Rische Group is a family-run commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment contractor based in Knutsford, Cheshire. We deliver high-quality projects across the UK for clients in the education, office, retail, hospitality and commercial sectors. We hold Constructionline Gold and CHAS accreditations and often act as both Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, so we take quality, safety and professionalism seriously on every site.

We're growing, and we're looking for an adaptable Multi-Skilled Operative to join our site team.

The Role

You'll work across a varied range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, turning your hand to a range of trades to keep jobs moving and finished to a high standard. Working closely with our Site Managers and Project Managers, you'll support everything from strip-out through to snagging and handover, often in live environments such as schools, universities and occupied offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • General joinery, including hanging doors, fitting ironmongery, skirting and architrave
  • Drylining, studwork, boarding and minor plastering or patch repairs
  • Tiling to walls and floors
  • Decorating and making good
  • Fitting and adjusting suspended ceilings
  • Strip-out and preparation works
  • Assembling and installing furniture, fixtures and washroom fittings
  • Snagging and remedial works ahead of handover
  • Following site RAMS and health and safety procedures at all times
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and protected

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled operative, ideally in commercial fit-out or refurbishment
  • Competence across at least three of: joinery, drylining, tiling, decorating, ceilings, plastering
  • Valid CSCS card
  • A practical, problem-solving attitude and pride in a clean finish
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Own hand tools and power tools
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide
  • Desirable: NVQ in a relevant trade, experience in live or occupied environments, DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £16.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week

Work Location: In person
