Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tiler / Builder to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing tiles, constructing structures, and contributing to various building projects with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will be helping on various construction projects around the country assisting in the installation of lifts and escalators and this will include tiling in shopping centres, airports and train stations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional results on diverse construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install tiles using hand tools and power tools to achieve precise fit and finish.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives for optimal tile adhesion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and adhering to safety protocols throughout each project.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proven construction experience with a strong background in tiling or building trades.
  • Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
  • Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for accurate implementation.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
