ABOUT US

We are established Estate & Letting Agents with offices based in Manchester City Centre and South Manchester, covering the whole of Manchester area. We require a Multi Skilled individual to join our expanding maintenance team who is able to start work ASAP.

THE ROLE

The suitable candidate would ideally be from a Building trade background and be capable of carrying out a variety of works such as:

Joinery, fitting kitchens and bathrooms

Plumbing duties (identifying leaks).

Addressing electrical problems

Tiling and final finishing works including application of a variety of sealants

Preparation for decoration including painting and patch plastering.

General handy person duties (including changing locks, assembling furniture , gardening, house clearances) and winter maintenance of our managed residential portfolio including additional refurbishment programs from time to time.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a good level of experience and understanding in all of the above!

You must be able to work on own initiative to resolve problems, have good communication skills and willing to travel to and from various properties within Manchester.

Must have clean Drivers License

Experience in electrics & plumbing is essential

Minimum 1 year experience in reactive maintenance

You will be working as part of a small maintenance team and reporting to the Property Managers

THE PACKAGE

Salary range of £25,000 to £29, 000 (dependent on experience) + bonus+ phone + van (after probation), The hours are full time working a 5 day week (9.20 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays (you will receive 1 day off during the week if working on a Saturday).

The position comes with 28 Holidays (including bank holidays). We also reward staff with an extra days holiday on the anniversary of every years service. Some out of hours work may be required and call out rates & overtime available.

A van and mobile phone will be provided to the right candidate after probation.
