Full job description

Trade Recruit is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and skilled Bathroom Fitter / Plumber to join a well-established and growing business operating throughout South Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson looking for consistent, long-term subcontract work, competitive day rates and a steady pipeline of bathroom installation projects.

The Role

As a Bathroom Fitter, you will be responsible for completing full bathroom installations from start to finish within residential properties. You must be confident across plumbing and bathroom fitting, with strong tiling skills and a high standard of finishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete full bathroom installations from start to finish
  • Carry out 1st and 2nd fix plumbing
  • Install baths, showers, toilets, basins, taps and associated pipework
  • Complete wall and floor tiling to a high standard
  • Carry out general plumbing repairs and adjustments
  • Work accurately from job specifications and plans
  • Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Liaise professionally with customers throughout installations
  • Manage your workload independently and complete projects within agreed timescales
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plumber and/or Bathroom Fitter
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
  • Strong experience completing full bathroom installations
  • Confident completing wall and floor tiling
  • Self-employed / subcontractor status
  • Own van, tools and equipment
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused
  • Able to work independently and manage jobs effectively

Working Hours & Location

  • 8 hours per day
  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturday work may be available/required
  • Projects throughout South Yorkshire, allocated locally where possible
