Multi-Trade Operatives – 3 Positions Available

LC Construction Ltd – Leek, Staffordshire

Salary: £35,000–£42,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Employment: PAYE – Paid Weekly
Location: Leek, Staffordshire
Company Vehicle: Provided from our Leek depot
Probationary Period: 6 weeks

LC Construction Ltd is an established, family-run construction company operating since 2003. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our services, we are looking to recruit 3 experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join our expanding team.

We specialise in responsive repairs, planned maintenance, general building works and void property refurbishments for established social housing providers and local authorities.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and skilled tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship and want to become valued members of our friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • General building repairs and property maintenance
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Plumbing repairs (excluding gas)
  • Plastering and making good
  • Kitchen and bathroom repairs and installations
  • UPVC window and door repairs
  • Tiling and flooring
  • Responsive repairs in occupied residential properties
  • Void property refurbishments
  • General property improvement works

Applicants are not expected to specialise in every trade but must demonstrate practical skills and experience across multiple trades.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in building maintenance and multi-trade repairs
  • Full, valid UK driving licence – essential
  • Relevant trade qualifications must be provided
  • Previous employment references will be required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
  • Ability to work safely in occupied properties
  • High standard of workmanship
  • Experience in social housing maintenance would be advantageous

6-Week Probationary Period

All successful applicants will be required to complete an initial 6-week probationary period.
