Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Bar & Front of House Team Members to join the team at Royal London in Wolverhampton.

This is a flexible zero-hours position, making it ideal for people looking for part-time work, students, those with other commitments, or anyone wanting to pick up additional shifts, but there will be opportunity to increase as the business builds.

You will be part of the team delivering a friendly, welcoming experience to our customers, from taking orders and serving food and drinks to keeping the pub clean, tidy and running smoothly.

The role is primarily focused on bar and front-of-house duties, but team members may also be asked to provide support in the kitchen when required. A willingness to work across different areas of the pub is therefore important.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
• Taking food and drink orders accurately
• Serving customers at the bar and/or at tables
• Preparing and serving drinks
• Delivering food to customers
• Clearing and resetting tables
• Keeping the bar, front-of-house and customer areas clean and tidy
• Handling payments and operating the till system
• Following food, drink, health and safety procedures
• Supporting the team during busy periods
• Helping with opening and closing duties when required
• Assisting the kitchen team with basic food preparation, cleaning and service when required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Working as part of a team to ensure customers have a positive experience

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need previous pub or hospitality experience — full training can be provided.

Previous experience in a pub, bar, restaurant, café or other hospitality environment is useful but not essential.

Flexibility

As this is a zero-hours contract, there are no guaranteed minimum hours. Shifts will be offered based on business requirements, and team members can provide their availability.

There may be opportunities to pick up additional shifts during busy periods, weekends, events and holidays.
