Full job description

We are looking for a very organised and friendly Chinese speaking individual with a strong administration background to support our busy office team. The successful candidate will have had experience working in a very fast-paced office, excellent strong organisation skills and excellent telephone and writing skill, and be able to multi-task in a busy environment.

Position: Admin Assistant

Location: Tottenham (N17)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract

No. of vacancies: 1

Salary: £13.75 - £14 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits: 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)

About the Role

You will work closely with the team and senior management to support and assist with varied office administration duties, and support different departments in the office.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate department
  • Receive and respond to emails using Microsoft Outlook
  • Update spreadsheets with accurate data and organise files both hard and soft copies
  • Carry out daily varied duties such as data entry and maintenance of filing systems
  • Checking and validating data
  • Support different office departments with ad hoc admin tasks
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks, as required by senior management

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience in a face-paced environment is essential
  • Ability to speak Mandarin / Cantonese is desirable
  • Excellent computer skills, especially knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience on Excel
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task when needed
  • Approachable and has a can-do attitude
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK (without sponsorship)

Pay: £13.75-£14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London N17 0DX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Administrative: 2 years (required)
