Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Support Medical Secretary, where your organizational skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. In this energetic role, you will provide essential administrative support to medical professionals, coordinate patient appointments, and manage correspondence with efficiency and care. Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling by coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations with precision and professionalism
- Handle incoming calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries to appropriate medical staff
- Prepare and organize medical documentation, including reports, referrals, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record system, updating information as needed
- Support clinic operations by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently
- Assist with billing procedures and insurance documentation to facilitate smooth financial processes
- Collaborate with medical staff to streamline communication and improve patient experience through proactive support
Experience
- Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Administrative experience in a healthcare or medical setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous
