Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong culinary background to showcase their expertise in a professional environment.

Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained in line with health regulations
  • Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as fish and meat sections
  • Manage stock levels and assist with inventory control to minimise waste
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations before, during, and after service
  • Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
