Join Our Team at TMS Motor Group as a Bodyshop Technician/Painter!

Are you an experienced Bodyshop Technician/Painter looking for a new challenge? TMS Motor Group, a family-run business with a reputation for excellence, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our successful bodyshop Department at our Hinckley dealership.

Role Overview:

As a Bodyshop Technician/Painter, you will play a key role in our team, ensuring that our vehicles are prepped, painted, and finished to the highest standards. A full, clean UK driving licence and prior experience in a similar role are essential.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Prepping vehicles prior to painting
  • Masking vehicles prior to painting
  • Conducting minor filler work
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards
  • Keeping work areas and tools tidy and in good working order
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Repair, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Good communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, excellent time management, and the ability to work systematically and with attention to detail
  • Experience: Previous experience working to efficiency targets
  • Personal Attributes: Honest, diligent, team player, takes pride in personal appearance and workplace organisation

Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in car body repair or painting
