Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Care Team Leader looking to take the next step in your career with the added benefits of quick progression through our step-up programme?

At The Mill House, Skipton, we're looking for a compassionate, confident and dedicated Care Team Leader (Nights) to lead our exceptional care team and ensure our residents receive outstanding person-centred care throughout the night.

The Mill House is conveniently located close to Skipton town centre, making commuting easy. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from Skipton Railway Station with a regular direct rail services to Leeds, Bradford and Lancaster.

Commuting by bus? There is also good local bus services serving Skipton and surrounding villages.

As a Care Team Leader (Nights), you'll play a vital role in leading and supporting the night care team while ensuring every resident feels safe, comfortable and valued.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and motivating the night care team.

Delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Administering medication safely (where qualified).

Completing care documentation accurately.

Responding promptly to residents' changing needs.

Supporting residents with dignity, respect and compassion.

Communicating effectively with relatives and healthcare professionals.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Care Team Leader.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Medication administration experience.

A caring, compassionate and positive approach.

Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.
