About the role

This is a casual, as-and-when required position working at our Lower Mill Estate site.

What you’ll be doing:

· Carry out daily pool tests, record the results, and reporting any results outside of range to the Leisure & Wellness Manager.

· To monitor bather loads and ensure that the pools do not exceed the maximum bather load whilst liaising continuously throughout the day with reception to communicate any concerns regarding capacity to assist in a safe and smooth-running service.

· Ensure that bathers are adhering to all pool rules.

· To assist with taking linen over to the boat store promptly, ready for collection.

· To assist with the cleaning of the changing rooms and bathrooms to ensure a safe space for all.

· Ensure that all potential hazards are reported to the leisure & wellness for action.

· To perform in-pool rescues, provide immediate first aid, and initiate emergency action if needed.

· To provide occasional reception cover if needed.

· Perform cleaning duties as instructed.

· Report any accidents and incidents to the leisure & wellness manager.

· Act compliantly with the safe system of work and the agreed health and safety management control

· Ensure the safety of pool users at all times

· To comply with the clubs Health & Safety procedures at all times

· Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner

We’d love you to have:

· Must be able to swim

· First Aid Qualification

· Emergency pool responder qualification

· RLSS Pool Rescue Award (Desirable)
