Full job description

Event / Operations Lead — Frontrunner Travel (UK)

Frontrunner Travel specialises in premium travel experiences that give fans exclusive access to the world's greatest sporting events — from the roar of Formula 1® to the prestige of Wimbledon and the passion of rugby. We design high-quality packages that bring guests closer to the action than they ever thought possible.

Frontrunner Travel is part of the Keith Prowse Travel group, and this role sits within our global operations team, working across some of the most iconic events on the international sporting calendar.

Behind every once-in-a-lifetime moment we deliver is seamless logistics and exceptional service. Join a team dedicated to turning live sport into unforgettable journeys — and help fans experience the moments they'll talk about for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of client travel packages, from booking confirmation through to on-the-ground event day
  • Manage relationships with hotel, transport, and hospitality suppliers to secure and confirm allocations for major sporting events
  • Process and manage ticketing logistics, including allocations, transfers, and client documentation
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients before and during their trip, resolving issues quickly and keeping the experience seamless
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure packages are operationally deliverable before they go to market
  • Support reconciliation and reporting processes to keep bookings, payments, and supplier costs aligned
  • Travel to marquee events as required to manage on-site operations and client experience firsthand

What We're Looking For

  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach — someone who takes initiative and moves quickly without needing constant direction
  • Adaptability and composure under pressure, with the ability to adjust smoothly when plans change at short notice
  • A strong work ethic and high energy, well suited to a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment
  • Commercially minded, with the judgement to balance profitability against exceptional client service
  • Mature and confident in manner, equally at ease dealing with clients at all levels
  • A genuine passion for sport and live events, matched by the drive to deliver on it

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and on-site execution, ideally within travel, sports, or hospitality
  • Proven customer service and communication skills, with a track record of managing client expectations and resolving issues effectively
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and cost tracking, with confidence using digital tools for scheduling, project management, and reporting
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with genuine attention to detail
  • Post-secondary education in event management, tourism, business, or a related field is beneficial but not essential

How to Apply

This role requires a cover letter that includes salary expectations and the reasons for your interest in this role — applications without one won't be considered.

Applications can be sumbitted via linkedin or info@frontrunnertravel.com
