We have an exciting new vacancy for a Night Receptionist to join our team at Basingstoke Country Hotel. This woodland hotel features 121 rooms in an attractive landscaped courtyards and is located just 5 miles outside of Basingstoke town centre. It is easily accessible by bus, with a bus stop located right in front of the hotel, and it's situated just off the M3 for those who prefer to drive.

Your duties will include:

  • Welcoming any late arrivals and checking guests in and out.
  • Running the night audit using our internal system (Opera Cloud)
  • Answering the telephone and addressing any enquiries.
  • Looking after any guest requests
  • Conducting regular security walks, floor checks, and light cleaning duties.
  • Following all night shift procedures and any other duties as and when required.
  • Completing the nights cleaning checklist ensuring public areas are kept clean
  • Setting and clearing event rooms as and when required

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, a working knowledge of opera cloud would be an advantage however this is not essential as full training will be given.
