Lettings & Sales Negotiator/Adminstrator

Are you an experienced property professional looking to join a friendly, family-run agency in the heart of Bury St Edmunds? We’re a well-established Lettings and Sales Agency with a strong local reputation, and we’re looking for a motivated and personable Lettings & Sales Negotiator to join our growing team. The job role is supporting both the sales and lettings department with dedicated days working with both teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Registering applicants and arranging property viewings for both the sales and lettings departments
  • Referencing tenants, verifying ID, and conducting Right to Rent checks
  • Coordinating move-ins and ensuring properties meet legal standards
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and legal documentation
  • Booking inventories, inspections, and checkouts
  • Managing rent increases
  • Conducting property inspections and reporting to landlords
  • Handling maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
  • Managing end-of-tenancy processes and deposit negotiations
  • Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and in person for noth the sales andlettings departments
  • Supporting our social media presence and marketing efforts
  • Sales negotiation and administration
  • Overseeing sales progression - liasing with clients and solictors during the conveyancing process

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in the property sector (essential)
  • Relevant industry qualifications (desirable)
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach
  • Confidence using property management software and social media

A pool car is available for appointments.
