Full job description

Dycotec Materials have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join our rapidly growing company. You will be an instrumental part of our Production team, responsible for manufacturing a range of chemical products to exacting quality standards.

Your Purpose in your role

Manufacture a range of chemical products using different process techniques, ensure production targets are met, monitor and record quality, operate to the required standards for health and safety and site cleanliness. Participate in continuous process improvement activities.

What you will do and how you will succeed:

All training will be provided for this position.

Principal responsibilities:

· Production of a wide variety of chemical inks

· Quality Control and testing of manufactured materials

· Ensure Health and safety procedures are strictly followed

· Undertake all process cleaning schedules to meet company standards for cleanliness and hygiene. Ensure production area is kept clean and tidy at all times

· Work with production engineering team to introduce efficiencies, operate new automated processes and manufacture new products.

· Enter production information into company IT systems relating to production quality checks, production stock and product batch status

· Maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures

We work from 08:30-17:00, five days per week, with 1 hour lunch break, office based.
