We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Traffic Management Operatives, on a self-employed basis or as a direct employee.

We are looking for M1/M2 and M5 ticketed operatives, with a driving licence.

If you are based in or around this area and interested in joining as an operative with Connect Highways, we want to hear from you.

This role pays up to £170 per shift, for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

Set-Up and Take-Down: Efficiently deploy and dismantle temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, and barriers.

Traffic Control: Direct traffic as per established guidelines to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and drivers in and around work zones.

Communication: Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to ensure smooth traffic flow and address inquiries.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively contribute to a safe working environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on equipment, report any issues promptly, and ensure proper storage and maintenance.

Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to job assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in temporary traffic management is essential.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- M1/M2 and/or M5 qualification

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move traffic management equipment.

- PPE, Vehicle and Fuel Card will be supplied.
