Full job description

Do you have a science-based degree? Previous experience working in a laboratory setting? Or simply looking to progress into the environmental science sector? Envirochem have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual in either a part-time or full-time role.

The Role

As part of our continued expansion, Envirochem is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Bulk Analyst based in our Fareham head office. Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking bulk sample asbestos fibre identification analysis in building materials (using stereo and PLM microscopes)
  • Generating reports and emailing results to clients in a timely manner.
  • Assistance with general office duties, such as supporting the preparation of asbestos survey reports.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Some experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided to obtain relevant qualifications (e.g. P401).

You should also be computer literate, with excellent communication and organisational skills to manage the reporting process efficiently and liaise with clients professionally.
