About the role:
We’re looking for an exceptional individual with enthusiasm and a passion for automotives to join our fast-growing team at Hudson Kapel Fleet Solutions.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Vehicle Inspector with full support, and a 6 month training plan. Once fully trained the role will be responsible for providing excellent Inspection and Quality Management to the department to ensure vehicles are inspected and signed off to the Customers standard and all SLA’s are met.
You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a hands on attitude who is a team player and always proactively suggests areas for change within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out bodywork inspections to the agreed customer standard
- Complete Quality Control Inspection checks on all production vehicles to ensure repairs have been completed to a high level
- Take a number of vehicle photographs to a high standard for customers
- Ensure optimum levels of efficiency and cleanliness across the Photobooth and QC area
- Overall responsibility for ensuring local KPIs are met with respect to volumes, efficiency, service and QC
- Review procedures, processes and service levels with a view to improving the standards on site and the service we provide to our customers
- To ensure around the photobooth and QC area is kept free-flowing and space is utilised to its optimum
- Move vehicles to and from the QC and imaging area
- Ensure health and safety standards are complied with to include but not limited to site speed limits, PPE and safe working practices
- Work alongside the Inspectors to support / cover each other’s roles when required
- Any other duties outlined by your Manager or Senior Management.
Requirements:
- · Familiar working with technology e.g., Digital Camera, Tablet, Smart Phone.
- · Excellent communication skills
- · Ability to work effectively under pressure
- · Be able to work as part of a team
- · Comply with Health and Safety requirements and legislation
- · Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of staff
- · Self-motivated
Other Requirements:
To action any other reasonable request from your Line Manager or Company Director and assist the team as applicable.
To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the job.
Working hours: 6.30am - 4pm
Starting salary £28,089.10 increasing to £30,455.50 upon the successful completion of a 6 month training plan.
