Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team of Field Service Engineers.

We specialise in the installation and maintenance of commercial cold rooms across the UK, working primarily with major supermarket chains. Our work involves installing, servicing, and maintaining the mechanical and electrical components of cold rooms, including door systems, electrical sensors, and the structural fabric of the rooms themselves.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Work alongside experienced engineers, receiving hands-on training.
  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair work at customer sites.
  • Deliver a professional service while interacting confidently with customers.
  • Travel throughout the South East of England, with occasional overnight stays where required.
  • Be based in or around the Lincoln area to work alongside our local engineering team.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new technical skills.
  • Good communication skills and confidence in customer-facing situations.
  • A full UK driving licence with at least one year's driving experience (essential).
  • Some knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and the safe use of hand and power tools (preferred, but not essential).
