Job Role: Junior Event Manager

Location: Button End, Harston (with travel to event locations)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Junior Event Manager to join our growing Events Team at The Cambridge Dining Company.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the events industry. Whether you're a recent graduate, have an events or hospitality qualification, or have experience in hospitality or customer service, we'll provide the training and support you need to develop into a successful Event Manager.

Working alongside our experienced team, you'll help plan and deliver a wide range of events, supporting clients from their initial enquiry through to on-the-day delivery. As your experience grows, you'll take ownership of your own events while continuing to receive mentoring and development.

What we're looking for:

  • Passion for events, hospitality and customer service.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office including excel and word
  • Positive, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, catering or another customer-facing role.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Events, Hospitality, Business or a related subject.
  • Experience in event coordination, administration or customer service.
  • Experience working with customers in a fast-paced environment
