We offer a self-employed, commission-only opportunity to join our firm, partnering closely with Thornton & Baines IFA Ltd, an Independent Financial Adviser company with over £150 million under management. Thornton & Baines leverages cutting-edge AI in our systems, ensuring our team stays at the forefront of the industry.

Role Overview: As a Broker at Thornton & Baines Legal, you’ll work with our extensive database of leads to generate client meetings. You will receive comprehensive training to provide top-tier legal advice in estate planning and develop effective sales techniques. No prior experience is required; our robust training program will take you from entry-level to a qualified estate planner. This is primarily an office-based position located in The City of London, with a pathway to becoming an Independent Financial Adviser.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert legal advice in Will writing, Trust planning, and Lasting Power of Attorney.
  • Engage with potential clients, converting leads into business relationships.
  • Make referrals to Thornton & Baines Independent Financial Advisers as necessary.
  • Commit to continuous learning and knowledge-building in estate planning.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics.

Requirements:

  • Develop legal and financial knowledge to work towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Ensure documentation is completed and recorded correctly.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the capability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough completion of all documentation.
