About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of construction materials testing. With on-the-job training and support, you will develop essential skills and knowledge to progress within our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • No previous experience required, you will assist experienced technicians in conducting a variety of tests on construction materials.
  • Prepare samples for testing, following established procedures.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments under supervision.
  • Record and document test results accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 6/B in Maths and English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
