Job Overview
We are seeking a TRAINEE engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude to learn, ensuring the successful installation of various systems. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The candidate will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Duties

  • Install and configure Nursecall, Paging and Access Control systems according to specifications. (Full training will be provided)
  • Build and assemble components as per project requirements.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
  • Conduct tests on installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation or servicing process.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients throughout the installation process.
  • Duties will also include workshop build, and testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.

Experience

  • Previous experience with electrical/electronic systems, particularly with Nursecall systems or similar technologies would be valued.
  • An understanding of computers & networking would be advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • A valid driver's licence will be required for travel between job sites.
  • A clean police record will be required for working in places with vulnerable people
