Junior / Trainee PCB Quoting Engineer

We are a growing UK PCB manufacturer looking to recruit a Junior / Trainee PCB Quoting Engineer to join our busy commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone technically minded who is looking to build a career within the PCB and electronics manufacturing industry. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.

You will support the preparation of quotations for printed circuit boards and work closely with customers, engineering, CAM, and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with PCB quotation preparation
  • Reviewing customer fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Learning PCB materials, finishes, stack-ups, and manufacturing processes
  • Communicating with customers regarding quotation queries
  • Supporting the sales and estimating team
  • Updating internal systems and quotation records
  • Helping ensure quotations are accurate and issued promptly

Ideal Candidate

  • Technically minded with good attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings beneficial
  • Electronics or manufacturing background advantageous
  • PCB industry experience helpful but not essential
  • Eager to learn and develop technically
