Full job description

Following the continual growth of new bookings. Tigger's @ Tetbury is recruiting for a full-time Nursery Nurse Trainee to learn on the job. The site is based in Tetbury in the beautiful Cotswolds.

The nursery is of an extremely high standard and caters for up to 163 children per day, split into 7 different age grouped rooms. We have a very dedicated team of practitioners, who have a passion for childcare and education and the right applicant will also be required to show the same passion and principles for children's well-being and their learning environment.

The onsite training is partaken at a level 3 entry, depending on the applicants previous experience, age, and any qualifications they have gained. The qualification is intended to take approximately 12-18 months (approx. same timescales as college). The trainees have their own regular assessor that visits the setting to support them and observe them, in order to successfully complete their in-house qualification that is recognised throughout the UK as a qualified Nursery Nurse and also an entry level into university to do a teaching degree or similar.

More mature candidates can also apply and receive free training and support, learning on the job.
