EOS Rooflights Limited manufactures and supplies high-performance flat and pitched rooflights to trade customers and homeowners throughout the UK. We are based in Sidcup, Kent, and produce everything in-house, from thermally broken aluminium frames to fully insulated upstands.

We are growing our B2B presence, working with architects, main contractors, specialist glazing installers and fabricators.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Assistant CAD Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in computer-aided design with our Senior CAD Designer. The successful candidate will assist in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics, gaining practical experience with industry-standard CAD software.

Duties

  • Assist our senior CAD technician in preparing detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with our teams to ensure drawings meet specified standards and project requirements
  • Participate in review sessions to refine design accuracy and detail

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD but training will be provided
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
  • Eagerness to learn new software tools and industry practices
  • Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy
