Trainee Plumbing Engineer

Do you have a Level 3 Plumbing qualification and want to start your career? This could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Removing dead legs, flexible hoses, installing valves and general plumbing
  • Installation of 2nd fix and unvented systems (G3 cert dependant)
  • Installing and servicing TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
  • Refurbishing tanks and converting systems to mains water
  • Legionella monitoring and sampling
  • Legionella risk assessments
  • Cleaning and disinfecting water systems
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Filter, UV light and water softener servicing
  • Cold water tank, cylinder inspections
  • Descaling outlets and cylinders
  • TMV servicing
  • PAT testing
  • Opportunities to cross train: water, fire, asbestos, electrical, health and safety
  • Receiving hands-on training across a variety of services

Requirements

  • Full manual UK driving license: 3 years minimum
  • Minimum requirement: Plumbing level 3 qualification
  • Lives in the UK currently with permit to work
  • Lives within 2 hours of Buntingford, Hertfordshire (SG9)
  • Happy to travel and overnight stays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
