Trainee Compliance Specialist (Office-Based – Uckfield, East Sussex)
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £27,500 per annum

About Us

BetTOM is a family-run business operating in the dynamic and fast-paced gaming sector. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Team based in our Uckfield office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build a career in compliance within the gambling industry. You’ll be working closely with our team to analyse client activity and help manage regulatory and operational risk across our platforms.

About the Role

As a Trainee Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Team in ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements. Your duties will include monitoring client behaviour, helping to implement compliance policies and procedures, and supporting the wider team in identifying and mitigating potential risks.

This role offers strong development potential for a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Prior experience in the gambling industry is desirable but not essential.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An analytical mindset with solid quantitative skills
  • A proactive approach to learning and self-improvement
  • The ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Uckfield, East Sussex
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available)

Working Hours

  • Part Time is flexible, Full time is 5 x 8 hr shifts
  • Rotating schedule covering office hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Coverage across 7 days per week
