Job Title: Construction Trainer
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Reports To: Construction Team Leader

We are looking for a Construction Trainer who is passionate about supporting young people and creating engaging learning experiences.

Role of a Construction Trainer

  • Deliver construction and employability training sessions to groups of learners
  • Facilitate experiential learning that builds confidence, communication and teamwork
  • Support learners undertaking programmes, apprenticeships and training pathways
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
  • Monitor, review and support learner progress
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback
  • Plan and prepare engaging sessions and learning resources
  • Maintain accurate records in line with compliance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and stakeholders
  • Support learners to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further learning

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with young people or learners
  • Experience delivering group-based learning or training
  • Understanding of or experience within the construction sector
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable

  • Experience within training, education or employability programmes
  • Teaching, training or coaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)

Package

  • Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
