Join Major Healthcare and be part of a team that genuinely puts children first.

We’re looking for genuine, passionate, resilient, and progressive individuals to support children and young people with Autism, ADHD, trauma, and complex needs. This is your opportunity to provide safe, consistent, and meaningful support that helps young people feel understood and move forward positively.

The Role

  • Provide nurturing, child-centred support

  • Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Follow care plans and maintain clear, accurate records
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times

What You Need

  • Experience with behaviours that may challenge
  • A genuine, passionate, resilient, and progressive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Training & Development That Actually Matters

We’re heavily investing in Learning & Development so you feel confident from day one:

  • 2-day structured Children’s Induction
  • Face-to-face Basic Life Support (BLS) training
  • Specialist training including NAPPI (focused on PBS and de-escalation)
  • Brand new e-learning platform
  • Ongoing face-to-face and virtual training
  • Real learning you can apply in practice, not just tick boxes

What We Offer

  • Flexible shifts
  • Weekly pay + enhanced weekend rates
  • Ongoing support from an experienced team
  • Clear progression opportunities

Safeguarding & Equality Commitment

Major Healthcare is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, equality, and inclusion.

Successful applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS, right to work checks, and satisfactory references.
