We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven Mental Health Support Workers / Caregivers in Inverclyde to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Clients:
A variety of service users who require support with varying complex mental health needs including substance misuse, anxiety & depression, social isolation, personality disorders and trauma. Some also have physical needs including mobility support, diabetes and catheter care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with social activities, shopping and outings
- Providing excellent care to improved service users overall wellbeing through mental health support
- Assistance with aspects of personal care, moving and handling and medications support
- Providing trauma informed care to a wide range of client with differing needs
Desirable/Essential Experience:
You will be joining a team of dedicated caregivers. Training, ongoing supervision and support from colleagues and manager will be available.
- Excellent team working skills
- Mental Health experience is essential
- A great sense of fun and humour in challenging situations
- Experience of medications administration, catheter care, mobility support
- Experience of trauma informed care
- A Full UK Driving licence is an essential requirement
Our work pattern:
- A variety of short shifts (2/3 hours) across 7 days a week.
- Ideal for working parents
- Around 10/15 hours per week with view to increasing hours over the coming months
