Experienced Tree Surgeon / Climber Wanted

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Tree Surgeon to join our growing team.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Proven experience in tree surgery and arboriculture
  • Relevant climbing and chainsaw qualifications/tickets
  • Experience working both on the ground and as a climber
  • Good knowledge of safe working practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Essential Tickets/Qualifications

Applicants must hold relevant NPTC/LANTRA qualifications including CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39 as a minimum.

Essential Tree Surgery Tickets

  • CS30 – Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting
  • (new code: 201/202)
  • CS31 – Fell & Process Small Trees
  • CS38 – Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue

Useful Additional Tickets

  • CS39 – Use of Chainsaw from Rope & Harness
  • CS32 – Medium/Large Tree Felling
  • CS40 – Aerial Tree Pruning
  • CS41 – Aerial Tree Dismantling/Rigging

Other Useful Qualifications

  • Woodchipper ticket
  • Stump grinder ticket
  • MEWP ticket
  • First Aid + Forestry
  • Trailer/towing licence
  • B+E licence

Duties Include

  • Tree pruning, dismantling, and removals
  • Hedge cutting and general arboricultural work
  • Operating machinery and equipment safely
  • Site clean-up and teamwork on domestic and commercial jobs
