Silver Tree are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Driver / Trainee Tree Surgeon to join our growing team.

This role will primarily support our tree surgery operations and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and is interested in developing a career within the arboricultural industry.

Essential Requirements

  • C1+E licence minimum (7.5-tonne vehicle and trailer combination).
  • Confident towing and manoeuvring trailers.
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a professional team.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Desirable

  • Existing tree surgery experience.
  • Arboricultural qualifications.
  • Trailer towing experience in a commercial environment.
  • HGV experience.

Training & Development

This role offers the opportunity to gain both in-house training and externally recognised arboricultural qualifications, with clear progression routes within the business.

Licence Information

This position requires the ability to legally drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle towing a trailer over 750kg. Applicants who passed their driving test before 1997 may have grandfather rights; however, candidates who have obtained their C1+E entitlement through passing the relevant test would be highly advantageous due to the additional towing weights permitted.
