Full job description

We are an established, high-quality arboricultural company looking for an experienced, reliable, and fully qualified Tree Surgeon / Climber to join our busy team.You will be carrying out a wide range of residential and commercial tree care operations, including crown reductions, felling, rigging, section dismantling, and hedge maintenance. We pride ourselves on safety, industry best practices, and leaving sites immaculate.

What We Are Looking For

This is a role for a skilled professional. To be considered, you must possess all relevant NPTC tickets and be capable of heading straight out to work as part of an active team.Key Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Driving Licence: Full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential (B+E trailer towing entitlement is a significant advantage).
  • NPTC Qualifications / Tickets: You must hold core NPTC certificates, including but not limited to:
  • CS30 / CS31 (Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting / Felling Small Trees)
  • CS38 / CS39 (Tree Climbing, Aerial Rescue / Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw)
  • Advanced tickets (CS41 Rigging / Dismantling) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of active climbing and tree surgery experience.
  • Equipment: Competence in operating and maintaining woodchippers, stump grinders, and varied chainsaw units.
  • Attributes: Strong work ethic, physical fitness, punctuality, and a safe approach to all site risks.
