TREE SURGEONS & UTILITY ARBORIST CLIMBERS

Broadleaf Arborists – Churchstoke, Mid Wales

We’re expanding our team and looking for experienced, reliable and motivated climbers to join us!

OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

Full-Time Self-Employed Utility Climbers

Part-Time & Freelance Tree Surgeons

Domestic Climbers – Utility Tickets NOT Essential

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced climbers to support our expanding operations across utility arboriculture, private domestic work and local authority contracts.

Our utility operations include:

  • SPEN vegetation management
  • Planned power outages and shutdowns
  • Live network vegetation clearance
  • Emergency call-outs and fault response
  • General tree surgery and maintenance
  • Domestic and council arboricultural works

We welcome applications from experienced utility climbers, as well as competent domestic climbers looking for additional work or the opportunity to progress into utility arboriculture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Utility Qualifications:

  • NPTC UA1
  • NPTC UA2.1 / UA2.2 / UA2.3

Arboricultural Qualifications:

  • CS30 / CS31
  • CS38 / CS39
  • CS40 / CS41

Additional Requirements:

  • First Aid + Forestry
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to Tow Trailers

Qualifications required will depend on the role.

That doesn’t mean you can’t join us!

We are also looking for experienced domestic climbers to support our private and council workload on a full-time/part-time or freelance basis.

For climbers interested in progressing into utility arboriculture, we are happy to discuss potential training, development and SPEN authorisation opportunities.

Experience, reliability and a good attitude are just as important to us as qualifications.
