Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our catering operations, ensuring that all food and beverage services are delivered with enthusiasm, precision, and a focus on guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
• Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, maintaining excellent guest services at all times
• Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet stations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Deliver catering orders to designated locations promptly while adhering to delivery protocols (delivery driver experience is a plus)
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu options or event details with clear communication skills
• Support meal preparation activities, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients as directed by chefs or supervisors

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality, restaurant service, or culinary environments with relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of food items
• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
• Previous roles involving guest services or serving demonstrate excellent customer interaction skills
• Ability to operate as a delivery driver or handle transportation responsibilities effectively (delivery driver experience is a bonus)
• Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients and team members
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in kitchen settings
• Experience working in hotel or barista environments adds valuable insight into fast-paced service settings
