Class 2 Driver PM Shifts

Salary: OTE of up to £62,000 (inluding £39,835.85 per annum plus Veolia benefits, £5.00 Daily meal allowance - per day worked & Single person Daily Allowance: Paid Dependant on the Route £39.96 & Night Bonus of £47.52)

Hours: Up to 48 hours per week, Monday - Friday 14:30pm - 01:00am
Required to work 1 in every 4 Saturdays

Location: Dundas Spur, Portsmouth, PO3 5NY

What you will be doing;

  • Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers
  • Lifting bins of all weights and sizes
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
  • Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads
  • Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

What we are looking for;


Essential

  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Up to date CPC / Digi card


Desirable

  • Previous waste management experience
  • RCV experience
