Cook – Tsunami Beach Bars, Southampton

Tsunami Beach Bars is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at our beach-themed pub/restaurant in Southampton. Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time hours, this is the perfect opportunity to be part of a vibrant kitchen that serves up everything from fresh seafood and sizzling steaks to delicious pizzas, burgers, ribs, and more.

As a Cook at Tsunami Beach Bars, you’ll work alongside a talented kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standard. You’ll bring your passion for cooking, your knowledge of food safety, and your ability to work well within a team to help create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to order, including seafood, steaks, pizzas, burgers, ribs, and more.
• Ensure that all food is cooked to a high standard and in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Work as part of a team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen during busy service hours.
• Keep the kitchen organized and ensure cleanliness is maintained throughout service.
• Follow all food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and cleanliness.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment (ideally with some experience cooking seafood, steaks, burgers, and pizzas).
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• A passion for cooking and creating quality dishes.
• Must be 18 or older.
